How to cook
Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla into a fluffy cream. Add the hot water, while stirring constantly with a mixer.
Separately, sift the flour and add the baking powder to it, mix them and add them to the egg mixture in 2-3 portions. Mix with a spatula in one direction. Set the mixture aside.
Peel and slice the apples. Arrange the apple slices and overlap them slightly in a rectangular tray (I used the oven tray) lined with baking paper.
Sprinkle the slices with as much cinnamon as you like and pour the egg mixture evenly over them. Place the tray in a preheated oven 356°F (180 degrees) and bake it for about 15-20 minutes until it aquires a golden brown color.
Remove the tray and leave it aside for 5 minutes. Then turn the cake layer over, remove the baking paper and carefully roll it into a sweet roll.
