Ingredients

  • feta cheese - 14 oz (400 g)
  • tomatoes - 2
  • eggs - 4
  • sausages - 7 oz (200 g)
  • savory
  • paprika - sweet
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • parsley - or green onions for decoration

How to cook

Cut the feta cheese into 4 equal slices (3.5 oz (100 g)) and put them at the bottom of the clay pots. Cut the sausages into round slices and divide them into 4 equal portions (for each pot) on top of the cheese. Cut the tomatoes into medium-thick slices and place them on the sausages.

Season with a pinch of savory, black pepper and paprika. Close the pots and put them in an pre-heated 392°F (200 °C) oven (with the fan on) or 428°F (220 °C) (no fan). Bake the cheese for 15 minutes. Take out the pots and take their lids off, break 1 (or more if desired) eggs per pot and return to the oven until the egg bakes (can be either hard or soft).

Serve with the lids on, after you have previously spread fresh green onions or parsley on the egg (for a bit of color). These products are for 4 servings. Bon appetit!
