Dissolve the yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Then add the lard, oil, more sugar to taste if desired, a pinch of salt, the flour and knead a soft dough. Leave it in a warm place to rise for about 40 minutes.
Tear small pieces of dough off, roll them out into the desired shape, place a piece of Turkish delight in the middle and roll them up. You can make triangles, scones, crescents or other shapes.
Arrange them in a baking dish and bake them in a preheated oven at 356°F (180 °C) for about 15 minutes. Let the ready Turkish delight cookies with lard and milk cool and sprinkle them with plenty of powdered sugar.
