How to cook
Beat the eggs well with the sugar. While beating, add the yoghurt and oil;
Add the coconut shavings (leave 3-4 spoons of them to sprinkle at the end) and the flour sifted along with baking powder, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Stir gently with a wooden spoon until a homogeneous mixture is obtained;
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured form and bake it at 356°F (180 degrees) in a preheated oven (35-40 minutes);
When the sponge cake is ready, leave it to cool for 10-15 minutes before removing it from the mold;
Heat the dulce de leche in a microwave oven or on the hob and spread it well on the surface of the cooled sponge cake;
Sprinkle the rest of the coconut shavings on top.
