How to cook
Clean and wash the fish. Cut it into pieces, which are about 2″ (5 cm) in size.
In a bowl, mix the spices - ground sea salt, white pepper, ginger powder and the grated peel of one lemon.
Mix all of the spices together and spread the hake pieces on the outside and inside with them. Leave them to stand for about 20 minutes.
Heat the oil and put two bay leaves in it, that way they will add flavor to it and during frying they will give the fish a pleasant aroma.
Roll each piece of fish in flour and put them in the heated oil.
Fry them until they aquire a golden brown color, by turning on each side.
The garnish is optional, but the dish must be consumed with cold white wine.
