Take 4 eggs and beat them with 1 cup of sugar until white. Sift the flour with baking powder and while stirring, add it to the egg mixture. Optionally, you can add drops of vanilla essence. Put the mixture into a greased and floured oven dish.
Arrange sliced apples on top, previously rolled in cinnamon and cocoa. Put the cake to bake to a nice tan in a moderately pre-heated oven. Place the second cup of sugar to caramelize in a pan on the stove and add melted butter, honey, the 2 eggs that you've beaten in advance, and chopped walnuts to the resulting caramel.
Mix well and pour this mixture over the cake. Leave it to set for about an hour and serve it sliced.
