Ingredients

  • leeks - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • rice - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • tomato juice - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • black pepper - ground
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • salt - to taste

Preparation

Stew the finely chopped leeks in oil and some water. Add the paprika and tomato juice.

Add 4 cups of warm water and boil. Add rice, salt and boil for about 20 minutes.

When serving, sprinkle it with black pepper.
