Ingredients

  • leeks - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • potatoes - 24.5 oz (700 g)
  • tomatoes - 2 large, ripe
  • tomato paste - 2 - 3 tablespoons
  • cabbage juice - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • salt
  • cayenne pepper

How to cook

Crush the leeks finely and put them to stew in a pot. Season to taste with the spices and pour in a little water. Clean and slice the potatoes, then add them to the pot.

Dissolve the tomato paste with crushed tomatoes and pour this tomato mixture into the dish. Add cabbage juice, a pinch of sugar and cook until the potatoes become tender.
