How to cook
Clean the duck very well, then burn the small hairs with a burner.
Wash the duck very well, salt it and grease it with butter. Rub it very well with paprika and black pepper.
Transfer the duck into a roasting pan. Pour a glass of water and cover it tightly with foil.
Preheat the oven to 340°F (170 degrees). Roast the duck for about 150 minutes.
At the end of roasting, remove the foil and roast it until it aquires a good crust.
Take out the roasted duck and place it in the middle of a large serving platter.
In the same platter, pour the sliced potatoes and stir, so that they can absorb the separated fat. Add garlic and salt. Bake the potatoes until they're ready.
Serve the duck with the baked potatoes.
The whole duck with baked potatoes is very tasty.
