"A cake with a filling is like a cake with a surprise - a guaranteed double delight."

Ingredients

  • butter - 4/5 cup (200 g) soft
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • vanilla - 1 - 2 powder packets
  • eggs - 3
  • flour - 3 cups
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • liquid cream - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • for the filling
  • brown sugar - 3/4 tea cup
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1 tsp sweet
  • walnuts - 1 tea cup, finely chopped
  • honey - 2 tablespoons, for spreading

How to cook

For the filling, mix the sugar, cinnamon, cocoa and walnuts. For the cake mix, beat the soft butter with the sugar until you get a fluffy cream.

Add eggs one at a time and gradually add the premixed flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, alternating with the cream. Prepare a greased and lightly floured cake form. Add a quarter of the cake mixture carefully, sprinkle it with filling and repeat this 3 times.

Finish with cake batter and put it to bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 °C) for about 1 hour. Allow the baked cake with filling to cool in the form before removing it.

Then smear it with honey or sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
