Ingredients

  • potatoes - 3
  • carrots - 1
  • celery - 1 head, small
  • onions - 1 head
  • apples - 1 small, sour + 1 for decoration
  • walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g), crushed
  • olives - for decoration
  • olive oil - 8 tablespoons
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • vinegar - 3 - 4 tablespoons
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp

Preparation

Boil the potatoes, carrot and celery and cut them into long pieces. Add the crushed walnuts and grated onion and apple. Season with black pepper and salt and mix.

Combine the olive oil, sugar, vinegar, black pepper and salt for a dressing. Distribute the Turkish salad into bowls, pour the dressing over it and garnish with olives.
