How to cook
Using a mixer, beat the two types of sugar with the butter. Add the eggs one after the other. Pour the vanilla pod into the milk along with the lemon juice and add them as well.
Gradually add the flour and baking powder. Pour the mixture into a form, greased and sprinkled with flour. If it is silicone, it is not necessary.
Sprinkle the homemade sponge cake with vanilla sugar, so that it can form a crust.
Bake the vanilla sponge cake at 360°F (180 degrees) until it's fully baked.
Once it cools down, sprinkle the delicate vanilla sponge cake with powdered sugar.
