  • eggs - 3 egg yolks + 4 egg whites
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp, essence
  • wheat flour - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • tapioca flour - 1 tablespoon
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp

Sift both types of flour with the baking powder. Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy and add the vanilla. Add the flour mixture and mix well.

These sweets are baked in specially designed forms in Malaysia, where they are well greased and filled, but not all the way to the top. Bake for 5 minutes. If you do not have such cookie forms, you can spoon the mixture into a tray with baking paper.

You will get Kuih Bahulu that are just as delicious. Enjoy!
