Ingredients

  • apricots - 4.5 lb (2 kg), ripe but firm
  • sugar - 20 tablespoons
  • water - 4 cups
  • apricot kernels - the seeds

Preparation

Wash the apricots, dry them, divide them into halves and remove their seeds. Fill the jars with them, each jar gets 17.5 oz (500 g).

Add a few apricot kernels. Prepare a warm sugar syrup from the water and sugar - each jar gets 5 tablespoons of sugar and 1 cup of water.

Close with the caps and sterilize the jars for 15 minutes.
