Ingredients

  • spinach - 2 lb (1 kg), fresh (17.5 oz (500 g) frozen)
  • onions - 1 bunch, fresh + 1 head
  • eggs - 3, boiled and crumbled
  • butter - 2 tablespoons
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • black pepper - to taste
  • nutmeg - 1 pinch, grated
  • garlic - 1 - 2 cloves (optional)

How to cook

Clean, wash and chop the spinach. Stew it with the fresh onions and chopped onion head until soft. Blend and add the spices.

Put them back into the pan and add the milk and butter, continuously stirring until you get a thick homogeneous mixture. The spinach puree is mixed with the crumbled eggs.

Serve chilled.
