How to cook
Dissolve the yeast in warm water with sugar until effervescent. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the yeast and salt and knead a dough, finally add the olive oil. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Move it into a greased bowl, cover and leave it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until doubled in volume. Divide the risen dough into 3 balls and shape each one into 3 baguettes. Roll them out on a floured board and using a knife, make several cross sections.
Transfer the baguettes to a tray, covered with baking paper, cover them and leave to rise for 15 minutes. Put the baguettes to bake for about 20 minutes in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven.
