How to cook
Wash and clean the turkey well.
In a suitable bowl, put the butter (at room temperature), chopped garlic, parsley and mix everything well until a smooth mixture is obtained.
Separate the skin from the meat and between them spread the butter with the spices and then spread the same mixture on the outside.
In the turkey place rosemary sprigs, a whole lemon, a whole orange, whole carrots and sweet potatoes (cut into large cubes).
Tie the turkey legs with thread.
Put the turkey on a roasting rack and place it in the oven. Place a baking pan of diced potatoes and onions on the bottom, so that the fat drips directly onto them.
Consider, that for the perfect roasted turkey, 13 minutes of roasting is enough for every 1.1 lb (500 g) of meat.
In this case, roast the turkey in the oven for about 2 hours at 360°F (180°C).
