Wash the green beans several times in different water and cut them as needed. Pour boiled water over them, cover and leave for about 40 minutes. Drain from the water.
At the bottom of the 4 1/5 cups (1 liter) jars, put 1 tsp of salt and stuff the chopped beans in. Fill with water to the brim and close the jars nicely. Sterilize for 1 hour after the water comes to a boil.
