How to cook

Mix the onion powder, 3 tablespoons of paprika, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon salt and crushed bay leaf. Smear the ribs well with the dry spices and let them stand in a covered container for 30 minutes - 1 hour. Preheat a grill or barbecue and brush the heated elements with half an onion dipped in oil.

Beat together all ingredients for marinating in a bowl, without the honey. Smear the ribs with the marinade and put them to cook on low heat. Smear the ribs frequently with the sauce for marinating, so they do not dry. Roasting takes about 1-2 hours. Shortly before removing the finished ribs, mix the sauce with honey and smear them on all sides.

Leave them to catch a light caramel tan and remove from the barbecue. Serve the American ribs with a side of salad and cooked potatoes.
