- panettone - 1 dry
- eggs - 5
- milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
- sugar - 1 cup
- essence - half vanilla and half rum
- raisins - optional + dried fruits
Cut the panettone in slices. Beat the milk, eggs and sugar with the essence and pour the mixture over the panettone that has been arranged in an appropriate form.
Between the slices, distribute raisins if you like and other dried fruits. Allow to stand for 10-odd minutes, then put it to bake in a moderately heated oven at 392°F (200 °C) for half an hour.
