"I tried lentils with potatoes and liked it but when I added bacon - I practically fell in love."

Ingredients

  • bacon - 21 oz (600 g)
  • vegetable oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • bread - 4 slices
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves
  • lentils - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • potatoes - 1
  • onions - 2 heads
  • savory
  • salt
  • vinegar

How to cook

Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in heated oil. Then in the same oil, fry the bread that has been cut into small cubes, along with the garlic.

Boil the lentils with the chopped into small cubes potato, drain and add salt to them. Mix with the chopped onions, season to taste with vinegar and savory and place in a large bowl.

Cover with a little fried bacon and some bread cubes.
