Ingredients

  • beef fillet - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • onions - 3 - 4 heads
  • carrots - 4 - 5
  • red wine - 1 cup
  • tomato paste - 3 tablespoons
  • green olives - 10, pitted
  • flour - 1 tablespoon
  • bay leaf - 2
  • paprika
  • black pepper - to taste, ground
  • salt - to taste

How to cook

Cut the beef into strips and put them to fry in preheated oil evenly. Then add chopped onions and carrots (roundly sliced) and olives. Add paprika, and enough water to cover the meat.

Simmer the dish until the beef is almost done, then add red wine, flour, tomato paste and a little water. Add bay leaf, black pepper, salt to taste and boil until ready.
