How to cook
In a pot, mix the milk, cream and 1/2 of the sugar. Beat the yolks with the other half of the sugar.
Add the vanilla and pour the hot milk and cream into a thin stream.
Place it back onto the hob and boil for about ten minutes, by stirring vigorously, until it starts to thicken.
Remove it from the heat and leave it to cool to room temperature. Then pour the mixture into a suitable conatiner.
Leave it in the freezer for 5-6 hours, by taking it out and stirring it every 2 hours.
Garnish the fruit ice cream with cream and sprinkle it with sugar sprinkles.
The homemade vanilla ice cream with fruit is ready.
