"Wonderful sponge cake with apples and walnuts, which everyone will eat at home"

Ingredients

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 7 oz (200 g)
  • oil - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • yogurt - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • walnuts - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • grated apples - 1 cup
  • lemons - the peel of 1 lemon
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (10 g)
  • flour - 8.5 oz (240 g)

How to cook

Beat the eggs and sugar into a fluffy cream.

Add the oil, yoghurt, crushed walnuts, grated apples, grated lemon peel and mix the sifted flour with baking powder in advance.

Stir, until a smooth mixture is obtained and pour it into a greased and floured cake tin.

Bake the sponge cake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) and bake it until it's done, for about 40 minutes.
