How to cook
In a medium-sized round baking pan, place 2-3 tbsp. of sugar to cover the bottom.
Place the baking pan in a preheated oven, until the sugar caramelizes.
Take it out from the oven and very quickly melt half a packet of butter in the caramelized sugar.
Place the sliced apples on top, which are arranged in the form of a fan for the apple cake.
Pour a mixture of crushed walnuts, raisins and cinnamon on them.
Prepare a mixture of 4 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 1 and 1/2 cup of flour, baking powder and vanilla.
Pour it into the baking pan and bake the cake for 40 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
Once the baked apple cake cools down, turn it over in another dish (tray) and decorate it as you like.
I used coconut shavings and sugar sprinkles to decorate my apple upside down cake.
