How to cook
Peel, halve and clean the pears from the core. Drizzle them on all sides with a little lemon juice, so that they don't darken.
Spread out the filo pastry sheets and spread them with olive oil.
Wrap half a pear in each filo pastry sheet, drizzled with a full spoonful of honey and sprinkled with 1/2 vanilla powder.
Seal them well, grease them with a little more fat and arrange them in a tray covered with baking paper.
If you prefer them to be sweeter, add extra honey between the folds of the sheets.
Put them in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) and bake them for about 25-30 minutes or until they aquire a golden brown color.
Serve these wonderful baked pears, while they are still slightly warm and add sour cream on top of each serving, which can optionally be sweetened with honey or powdered sugar.
