How to cook
The apples are grated and are sqeezed lightly to drain the juice.
Mix in the crushed biscuits, ground walnuts and cinnamon.
In another bowl, beat the butter along with the sugar.
Add the eggs and beat very well.
Add the flour, which has been sifted with the baking powder.
Finally, add the apple mixture.
Stir well and transfer the apple sponge cake mixture into a baking tray onto parchment paper.
The sponge cake is baked for 30-35 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
The baked apple sponge cake is sprinkled with powdered sugar.
