How to cook
Defrost and roll out the puff pastry lightly.
Cut half of the crust into strips without reaching the end.
Peel and clean the apples. Grate them on a coarse grater.
Stew them along with the butter. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and walnuts. Stir.
Cool the finished stuffing.
Pour the stuffing at the end of the uncut part and roll it into a roll.
Place the roll in a suitable baking tray, lined with parchment paper.
Bake the strudel in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) , until it aquires a golden color.
During baking, sprinkle the surface with brown sugar.
