Ingredients

  • flour - 10 oz (280 g)
  • yogurt - 8.5 oz (240 g)
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • feta cheese - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • vegetable oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • gherkins - 3 pcs finely chopped
  • green olives, pitted, stuffed with peppers - 15 pcs. cut in rounds
  • ham - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • capers - 1 tbsp
  • savory herb - 1/4 tsp, dried
  • salt - 1/2 tsp

How to cook

Whisk the eggs and add the yogurt. Mix the flour and baking powder, sift it into the egg mix and stir again.

Season with salt and savory herb, add the finely chopped ham, crumbled cheese, diced gherkins, olives and capers. Pour in the oil.

Stir to incorporate all the ingredients together.

Transfer the batter into a cake form covered with greased baking paper. Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C) and bake for about 40 minutes.

Insert a wooden skewer to test if its ready. You can take the cake out of the oven, when the skewer comes out clean, without traces of raw dough.

Allow to cool before slicing.

Your savory cake is ready.
