How to cook
Pour the water into a pot on the stove and when it boils, add the sugar.
Mash the overripe bananas and pour them into the pot. Boil for 10 minutes, by stirring occasionally.
Remove the mixture from the heat and add the citric acid, orange essence and cinnamon.
Cut the green bananas into cubes, add them into the jam and stir.
Immediately pour them into jars and close them tightly. Turn them over with the caps upside down and leave them like that, until the next day.
Store them in a cool and dark place.
The homemade banana and cinnamon jam is ready.
