  • beer - 1 cup (200 ml)
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • butter - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • bay leaf - 2 leaves
  • allspice - a few grains
  • black pepper

The chicken livers are cleaned, washed and soaked in salted water for half an hour. Strain them in a colander, sprinkle them with black pepper and place them in a baking pan, along with a little butter and oil.

Add the beans, the bay leaf and the peeled and halved garlic cloves, pour in the beer, mix well and cover the baking pan with aluminum foil.

Bake them in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for about 40 minutes, then remove the foil and place the baking pan back into the oven for a few more minutes.

Serve them warm and necessarily with well-chilled beer!
