How to cook
Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the bacon.
Add all the cleaned and chopped vegetables. Fry for about 5 minutes, by stirring constantly. Leave them to cool, until they're fully chilled.
Beat the egg with the milk and cream and a pinch of nutmeg.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Pour the cooled vegetable and bacon mixture into an ovenproof dish and cover them with the milk mixture.
Sprinkle the gratin with yellow cheese and bake it for about 30 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
The vegetable gratin with bacon is ready.
