How to cook
I kneaded the dough in a bread machine on the kneading and rising program.
First I added the liquid ingredients with the sugar and the crushed yeast. Then I poured the flour and salt.
I took out the risen dough onto a floured surface and without pressing it too much, I divided it into balls.
I very lightly and quickly formed into elliptical shapes and placed them on a floured tray.
I sprinkled the bread loaves with flour and made light cuts with a knife. I covered them and left them to rise again for 30 minutes.
I baked them in a heated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 40 minutes in the middle of the oven.
The small village-style bread loaves are very tasty.
