How to cook
Caramelize half a cup of sugar until light brown and pour it out onto the bottom of a round baking dish.
Cut the butter into pieces on top, sprinkle with the chopped walnuts. Arrange panettone pieces on top, add the eggs, which have been beaten with 1 cup of sugar and the milk.
Bake in a moderate oven at 360°F (180 °C). Invert it while still hot onto a cake plate.
