Drain the peaches. Thoroughly whip the butter with the sugar and salt. Gradually mix the eggs in. Sift the flour with the baking powder. Add it to the butter mixture and mix gently.
Add the crumbled chocolate. Heat the oven to 347°F (175 °C). Butter muffin forms and sprinkle them with flour. Fill them 2/3 of the way up. Place a peach half on top with the cut side down and lightly press it. Cover with a little dough on top.
Bake for about 15 - 20 minutes. Remove the cakes and let them cool for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a tray. Let them cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
