Ingredients

  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • water - 2/3 cup (150 ml) cool
  • yeast - 1 1/2 tsp dry
  • oil - 3 tablespoons
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oatmeal - 1 cup, fine
  • flour - 2 1/2 cups, graham + 1 cup, white

Preparation

Pour milk over the oatmeal, cover and let it stand for 2 hours. Dissolve the yeast in the cool water with the sugar and leave it for 20 minutes in a warm place. Then mix the oatmeal and yeast, add salt, oil, white and graham flour and gradually knead a dough.

Allow to rise for 1-2 hours in greased bowl in a warm place. Put the dough in a greased oblong or oval form. Brush it with a little oil and sprinkle it with fine oatmeal.

Put it to bake in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven until ready. Remove the finished bread and wrap it in a towel until cool.
