Ingredients

  • turkeys - 1
  • sauerkraut - 1/2 head, large
  • bacon - 7 oz (200 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 1, large
  • oil - 3 - 4 tablespoons
  • paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste

How to cook

Clean the turkey and then portion it. Cook the turkey pieces in boiling water for about 20 minutes.

Chop the onion finely and the bacon into small cubes. Heat the oil in a deep pan and saute them, then add the finely chopped carrot. Mix with a little salt, black pepper and paprika.

Add the chopped sauerkraut and some of the turkey broth. After a little while, add the meat, stir well and transfer everything into a tray. Put it to bake in a preheated 392°F (200 °C) oven.
