Ingredients

  • lamb - 3.5 lb (1.5 kg)
  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg), fresh, small
  • carrots - 4 - 5
  • salt
  • black pepper - ground
  • paprika
  • lovage - 2 - 3 bunches
  • oil - 2 - 3 tablespoons

Preparation

Cut the meat into portions, sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Place in a pre-greased earthenware pot and 2 two cups of warm water. Bake for an hour and a half at 392°F (200 °C).

Scrape and rinse the potatoes, chop the carrots finely. Salt lightly and add them to the pot. Put lovage stalks in and add 2 cups of hot water.
