Preparation

Boil the potatoes firmly without overcooking them, then peel and grate them. Finely chop the dock and rub it with salt. Add it to the potatoes along with 2 eggs, finely chopped fresh dill, onion and garlic, spices to taste, then knead the mixture well.

With greased hands, form meatballs, roll them in the breadcrumbs and arrange them in a greased tray. You can bake them as is in a moderately heated oven, or you can pour beaten eggs and yoghurt on top and bake them along with the topping.

Serve the frikkadels garnished with boiled rice and vegetables.
