Ingredients

  • cornels - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • sugar - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • water - 8 1/3 cups (2 liters)
  • citric acid - 1 tsp (5 g)

How to make

Boil the cornels in water until soft, then strain them. Boil the resulting juice with the sugar until thickened.

Near the end of boiling, add the citric acid. Pour the resulting syrup into bottles while hot.
