  • flour - 1/2 cup (120 g)
  • sugar - 1/2 cup (120 g) + another 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • butter - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • eggs - 4
  • chocolate - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • jam - choice of raspberry, strawberry and others
  • chocolate - 2 oz (50 g)
  • walnuts - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)


Separate the egg yolks from the whites. In a deep bowl, beat the butter with a mixer. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar to it and then the yolks.

Once the sugar is dissolved, start adding the flour and chocolate (pre-melted in a water bath) to the mixture. Whip the egg whites to foam with the remaining 1/5 cup sugar and add them to the other products. Brush the bottom of a baking dish with a little butter, sprinkle it with a pinch or two of flour, dusting off the excess.

Pour in the chocolate mixture and bake in a pre-heated moderate oven until ready. Smear the hot chocolate pita with a jam of your choice and decorate with grated chocolate and / or walnuts.find similar recipes here
