Soak the chickpeas overnight in water. The next day, boil them, remove the shells of the boiled chickpeas at the end. Blend them in a food processor with the pressed garlic, olive or vegetable oil, a little chopped parsley, ground cumin, a little coriander to taste, black pepper and paprika, salt, baking soda and blend everything to homogeneity.
Then add the minced meat to the blender and blend the products once more. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and leave in the fridge to tighten for half an hour.
Then shape balls the size of a walnut and fry them in preheated oil. Put the rice with a little oil and salt to boil until ready.
Fit the finished meatballs on skewers, alternating between pieces of pepper, onion and meatball. Serve thus prepared meatball skewers on a bed of cooked rice.
