How to cook
Stuff the turkey with a mixture of 5 sour apples, cut into pieces, 4/5 cup (200 grams) of raisins, salt, pepper and a slice of bread, soaked in milk.
Sew it closed and salt, cook for 3 hours in a greased tray in a hot oven, periodically pouring water over it and 10 minutes before the end, brush it with lemon juice and salt. Finish baking at very high heat.
Remove the turkey into a warmed platter. Thicken the sauce with flour, season with pepper, salt and apple slices and served with a gravy boat.
