Beat the soft butter with the sugar and while whipping nonstop, add the egg, sifted flour, baking powder and vanilla. Put the dough in a form, covered with baking paper. Roll it out with wet hands, making a slight edge along the sides.

You need to get a nice tan on top and the middle needs to remain slightly gelled. Once the fruit pie with topping cools, it will harden.
