To 4 1/5 cups (1 liter) of water, add the vinegar and vegetables, cut into coarse chunks. Put the whole garlic cloves in. Add the spices and put it to boil for 15-20 minutes.
Then strain the marinade for the poultry and allow it to cool. It needs to be stored in an enameled container (not copper, zinc or aluminum).
Pour the prepared marinade over the poultry meat and leave it to sit for about half an hour to an hour.
