"That pork casserole is in for some serious competition for our hearts when faced with this Beef with Leeks."

Ingredients

  • beef - 28 oz (800 g)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • leeks - 6 - 7 sprigs
  • garlic - a few cloves, optional
  • tomatoes - 4 - 5
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • caraway - 1/2 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp, ground
  • salt - to taste

How to cook

Cut the beef into bites and put them to fry in heated oil. Once the bites are slightly tender, add the chopped leeks, garlic, stir and add the grated or finely chopped tomatoes.

Mix in the paprika, black pepper and crushed caraway seeds and salt to taste. Close tightly with a lid and let it boil on medium heat, occasionally adding in some water.

At the end, it needs to remain in mostly just oil.
