Ingredients

  • eggs - 3 egg yolks
  • powdered sugar - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • butter - 1 cup (250 g)
  • flour - 2 cups (500 g)
  • lemons - lemon rind, if desired

How to cook

Sift the flour and powdered sugar. Add the egg yolks, butter and lemon peels. Gradually knead a smooth dough.

Wrap it in transparent plastic wrap and leave it for several hours (best for overnight) in the refrigerator. Roll out thus prepared dough into a 1/4 (5 mm) thick layer and cut out cookies of your desired shapes.

Bake in a 340°F (170 °C) oven until the edges turn pink and then stick them together with jam.
