Ingredients

  • garlic - 1 head, large
  • sunflower seeds - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g) crushed
  • eggs - 1
  • bread - 2 slices dry
  • milk - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • nutmeg
  • parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped

How to cook

Soak the sunflower seeds in water overnight. The next day, drain them, but not completely and place them in an elongated dish. Add the ground walnuts, pressed garlic and soaked and drained slices of bread.

Puree, while adding the egg and milk. Add oil while continuously mashing, and if it's too thin, reduce the amount of oil.

Finally, season to taste with salt, black pepper and paprika to taste, a pinch of nutmeg and chopped parsley. Mash the final mixture until smooth.
