How to cook
Heat up the butter in a pot, but do not fry it. Add the rice and on very low heat, stir it for about 1 min. On top, pour on the milk and sugar and boil until the milk evaporates by half, occasionally stirring it.
Add the raisins and nuts and pour everything in an appropriate tray. Bake at 392°F (200 °C) in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. If you do not wish to bake, you can continue boiling for another 15 minutes.
If you have lotus seeds, you can bake them lightly, crumble them roughly and sprinkle the pudding with this. Or you can add them to the pudding along with the other nuts.
