Sift the flour with the baking powder, make a well in the middle and start to knead with the butter by hand. Add the sugar, salt, gradually pour in the beer and knead a smooth dough.
From it, shape 10-12 buns. Arrange them in greased tray and optionally sprinkle them with poppy or sesame seeds. You can make light slits with a knife on the buns.
Put them to bake in a preheated 410°F (210 °C) oven.
